Terms of Service

1. About CarJio

CarJio is a marketplace that connects private sellers and dealers with buyers of used cars in India. We provide trust signals — a Trust Score, Fair Price Analysis, Video Verification and a Verification level — but we are not a party to the sale itself. The contract for a vehicle is between the buyer and the seller.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter a contract and to sell any car you list.

3. Listings

• You may only list a vehicle you own or are authorised to sell, and the details, photos and videos must be accurate and your own (or used with permission).
• Photos must show the actual car. Misrepresenting condition, ownership, kilometres or price is grounds for removal.
• You grant CarJio a licence to host and display your listing content for the purpose of operating the marketplace.

4. Verification

Verification badges and levels are awarded by CarJio after human review of the evidence a seller provides. Sellers cannot self-verify. A badge reflects the checks we completed; it is not a warranty of the vehicle’s condition or title. See our Verification Methodology.

5. Scores and price analysis

The Trust Score, Transparency Score and Fair Price Analysis are deterministic estimates derived from listing data, as explained in our Trust and Fair Price methodology pages. They are guidance to reduce guesswork, not financial or legal advice, and no specific outcome is guaranteed.

6. Prohibited conduct

• Posting fraudulent, duplicate or misleading listings.
• Listing vehicles you do not have the right to sell.
• Harvesting data, scraping, or interfering with the service.
• Uploading unlawful, infringing or harmful content.

7. Removal and suspension

We may remove listings or suspend accounts that breach these terms or that our fraud checks flag, to protect buyers and the marketplace.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, CarJio is not liable for the conduct of buyers or sellers, the accuracy of any listing, or the outcome of any transaction. You should inspect any vehicle and verify its documents before purchase.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above; continued use means you accept the revised terms.
